The Source/La Source is a response to the frustration women’s health researchers and policy-makers have experienced in trying to find and sift through health-related data”, says Dr. Lorraine Greaves, co-Leader of the Women’s Health Research Network, Executive Director of the BC Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health and project lead. “The Source/La Source pulls it together in one website and offers a new way of looking at data from the perspective of sex, gender and diversity.” The Source/La Source was officially launched on October 18th, 2007 from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM at the Coast Hotel on 770 Brunswick Street, Prince George, BC. Development and maintenance of The Source/La Source is funded by the Women’s Health Research Network, one of eight Health of Population Networks funded by the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research. The Source is available in English and French thanks to support from Health Canada. For more information or interviews, please contact: Jos Wentland
